JFE Steel Galvanizing (Thailand) Co. Ltd (JSGT) was established in November 2008 under the Investment of JFE Steel Corporation Co. Ltd. Japan 100%. JFE Steel Galvanizing (Thailand) Ltd. was granted investment privileges by the Board of Investment to be the first company in Thailand to produce sheet steel for the automotive industry in Thailand with a capital investment of more than investment of 9,000 Million Baht, or about 300 Million U.S. Dollars. JSGT can produce a high quality sheet steel for the automotive industry confirming to both Thai and international standards with a capacity of 400,000 per annum in Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Pluakdang, Rayong JSGT can virtually replace all imported structural steel and consequently saving significant outflow of money from the country. |
